The Eco Village Farmlet Visit

Farm Visit

The last week of term Room 12 and 13 went to visit a mini farm at the Eco-village. The children had the chance to see the farm animals in their natural habitat and to get up close and feed some of the animals. They got to feed the sheep and goats, collect an egg each from the chicken enclosure and planted a seedling that they could take home and grow. It was a great way to finish the topic we had been studying all term about different animals habitats.
We had so much fun!

Play Based Learning

Another great term of Play Based Learning where the children have had the chance to create, problem solve, experiment, discover and work collaboratively.

Museum Visit

Museum Visit

This term we have been looking at animals and the variety of harsh habitats they live in.
We went to the museum to learn about some of the special animals and birds that live in our environment.

We saw the beautiful stained glass windows that showed a lot of different animals. We even got to create our own animal stained glass masterpiece.

We have spent this term learning to skip. We have done a lot of practice and we are getting really good at these skills.

No Child Left Inside Programme

No Child Left Inside
This programme is to encourage children to be active. We took part in lots of different activities where we learnt some new skills and had to work co-operatively with each other.
